Shipping and Returns

Shipping charges for all orders are based on the following criteria:-

Membership subscriptions
Shipping is included for memberships including The Bulletin, Entomologist's Record and/or Bug Club Magazine to the UK. Shipping costs are currently £10 for memberships with a delivery address outside of the UK.

All other products

Shipping is included to addresses in the UK.

For Europe and Worldwide destinations shipping costs are calculated by weight:

The charge covers packing, handling and delivery. Orders are usually responded to within 48 hours, and are normally dispatched within 10 working days, but, as all orders are fulfilled by unpaid volunteers, please allow 28 days for delivery.

Delivery

Please allow 28 days for delivery of merchandise and publications.

Memberships run from January to December and depending on the periodicals you choose these are either published in February, April, June, August, October and December or March, June, September and December. Please check https://www.amentsoc.org/publications/ for the details on each periodical. On joining you will receive a letter confirming your membership and any periodicals you may have missed for the current year will be sent to you as soon as possible.

However, if you are joining after the 30th September, you will be enrolled as a member for the following year. You will receive confirmation of your membership but your first periodical will arrive the following year.

Customers outside of the EU

When ordering goods for delivery overseas, you may be subject to import duties and taxes that are levied once the package reaches your country. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you should contact your local customs office for further information.

Returns

Please contact us if you are not entirely satisfied with our products or our service, so that we can rectify the situation. Items are described and photographed as accurately as possible, but please note that colours and specifications may vary.

If the product is damaged or broken in transit please contact us and we will replace the goods immediately if possible or refund your payment as soon as we are able if no replacement is available.

Customers in the European Union are entitled to a statutory cooling-off period of seven business days.

Except where goods are faulty, if you decide to return goods then you will be responsible for paying any return costs.

Returned books should be sent to the publications agent that dispatched the books to you. This information will accompany the books when delivered.
